Swift Venue Finders, is a leading venue finding agency in the country and we understand the importance of preserving and protecting the landscape, habitats and beauty of the land in which we live and work. We are continually aware of the need to be responsible for educating our clients, improving our own practices and the way in which we operate as a company, are important in making Swift Venue finders an environmentally aware Venue Finding Service in a somewhat controversial corporate environment.
As a company that sits between the supplier and the corporate client, Swift Venue Finders is working towards creating a more sustainable offering for our clients.
Key to this is being aware of and aiming to reduce our own environmental footprint, and to improve the green credentials of our supply chain.
We are delighted to be a member of the Green Tourism Business Scheme and have recently been awarded a Bronze award. We are fully committed to improving our sustainability and achieving the Gold award in future. In order to do this, we will:
- Reduce, reuse and recycle.
- Promote sustainable transportation options in clients venue suggestions
- Support ‘Green Tourism’ businesses, local and sustainable food producers, and environmentally friendly visitor attractions
- Raise awareness about environmental issues among the team, fellow businesses and visiting venues representatives.
- Promote ‘Green Venues’ to clients by highlighting such initiatives as renewable energy, and the venue sustainable policies.
- Remain committed to developing and adopting new ‘green’ initiatives where possible.
- We recycle all paper, plastic, cardboard, glass and Batteries
- Printer cartridges are recycled. Printing is black and white only on 2 sides. Notices up in the office as reminders to turn off taps and lights.
- Encourage venue representatives to update us on their venue news/refurbishments via U Tube/webinar instead of visiting thus reducing their carbon footprint, costs etc.,
